Payment methods
Web Payment Terms
We require 50% upfront, and the remaining 50% within 14 days of completion of the project. Updates are done on a Pay-As-You-Go basis and billed at the end of the month and payable within 14 days along with any other fees such as hosting.
Video Payment Terms
We require 50% upfront, and the remaining 50% within 14 days of completion of the project.
Print Payment Terms
We will submit an invoice and require the full payment within 14 days of completion.
Photography Terms
Payment will be recieved prior to any photography.
Late Payments
Late payments will cost an additional 10% of the total due for each week late.
Early Project Termination
The Client has the right to terminate a project early. In the event that you find it necessary to terminate a project early, all project copyright ownership will stay with Blink Multimedia, and no product will be transferred to the Client. The Client will be responsible to pay Blink for the work up to that given point. The initial down payment represents 50% completion. Any % completed following 50% will be billed from the final payment expected. The % completed will be determined by Blink and then calculated from the initial payment due. If the project is terminated before 50% completion, then Blink is entitled to the full down payment reguardless of project progress. For any projects without an initial down payment that are terminated early, the Client will be responsible to pay Blink the % of the project completed as to be determined by Blink.
Refunds
We offer no refunds because at every stage of the process we check to insure that our clients are satisfied with the work done thus far. If something isn’t right, we discuss it and change it within reason. At Blink, our business is based on the exceptional quality of our work and 100% client satisfaction.
30 Day Domain/Hosting Transfer & Termination Notice
You have the option to transfer your domain/hosting with a different provider &/or to terminate your services at any given time but must give us 30 days notice to assist in the transaction. Domain/Hosting is billed in annual commitments, and there will be no refund for lost paid months due to transfer or termination.
Copyright Ownership
Website Ownership
After the final payment the client owns the rights to permanent use of the web site design. Any stock photography etc. within the site may not be transferred or re-sold. We hold the right to use any and all projects within our portfolio.
Video Ownership
After the final payment the client owns the rights to permanent use of the video. We hold the right to use any and all projects within our portfolio.
Print Ownership
After the final payment the client owns the rights to permanent use of the publication. We hold the right to use any and all projects within our portfolio.
Photography Ownership
We retain ownership of all pictures even after purchase. If you need additional use or services of any prints feel free to contact us for assistance. We hold the right to use any and all projects within our portfolio.
Client Responsibility
Beyond the initial in person / on telephone consultation, we will need you to supply us with the necessary materials for your project on an agreed-upon time scale. These materials usually consist of any original artwork you own, logos, content writing, photographs, etc. We will need you to review and comment on drafts, development, and completed projects. It is this process that ensures you get what your business needs and helps us to deliver your project on time.
Mediation and Possible Litigation
If a dispute arises, the parties will try in good faith to settle it through mediation conducted by a mediator to be mutually selected. The parties will share the costs of the mediator equally. Each party will cooperate fully and fairly with the mediator and will attempt to reach a mutually satisfactory compromise to the dispute. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days after it is referred to the mediator, either party may take the matter to court. This agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Pennsylvania.
